What is Anavar ?
Anavar, also known as Oxandrolone, is a synthetic anabolic steroid. It was first produced by Searle Laboratories in 1964. Anavar is widely used by bodybuilders and fitness enthusiasts. It replaces the testosterone hormone in the human body and increases muscle growth.
Due to its powerful anabolic properties, Anavar is often used to increase muscle mass and increase strength. However, it is generally preferred by female athletes as it is a much milder steroid compared to other steroids. Moreover, Anavar is also used in weight loss programs because of its fat burning properties.
Due to its estrogenic side effects, Anavar does not retain water and does not cause issues such as gynecomastia. Therefore, it is a popular choice among bodybuilders. However, the use of Anavar can cause some side effects.
- Muscle Mass Gain: Anavar is used to increase muscle mass. This steroid especially helps athletes gain faster and stronger muscles.
- Fat Burning: Anavar helps to burn body fat. This steroid is widely used by people participating in weight loss programs.
- Strength and Stamina: Anavar helps your body develop more strength and endurance. This allows athletes to exercise more intensely and for longer.
- Injury Healing: Anavar can help heal injuries. This steroid helps muscles and tissues heal faster after injury.
- Blood Circulation: Anavar helps to increase blood circulation. This helps your body get more oxygen and nutrients.
Anavar Side Effect
- Liver Damage: Anavar is a steroid with hepatotoxicity. This means that liver cells are damaged and liver functions are impaired during the use of the steroid. Therefore, the use of hepatotoxic steroids such as Anavar may increase the risk of liver damage. However, this effect is usually mild or moderate at low doses.
- Testosterone Suppression: Anavar can suppress testosterone production. This decrease in testosterone production may continue after the steroid cycle and it may take time for testosterone levels to return to normal. Therefore, it is important to do post cycle therapy (PCT) after Anavar use.
- Cholesterol Problems: Anavar can negatively affect cholesterol levels. LDL cholesterol (bad cholesterol) levels may rise, while HDL cholesterol (good cholesterol) levels may decrease. Therefore, it is important to regularly monitor cholesterol levels during Anavar use.
- Skin Issues: The use of Anavar can cause skin problems. These can include problems such as acne, oily skin, increased hair growth and hair loss. Therefore, it is important to take care of the skin while using Anavar.
- Other Side Effects: The use of Anavar may also cause other side effects. These side effects may include insomnia, headache, nausea, vomiting, decreased libido, muscle cramping and edema.
In order for Anavar to be used effectively, it is important to determine the correct dosage. Anavar dosage can vary from person to person and is often dependent on body weight, age, gender, level of experience and other factors.
Generally, the dosage of anavar is between 5-10mg/day for women and 20-50mg/day for men. However, these dosages are entirely dependent on individual needs and goals.
How often should Anavar dosage be taken?
Anavar is usually taken once a day and is usually recommended to be taken after meals. Since Anavar has a half-life of around 9 hours, many bodybuilders prefer to split the anavar dosage into two equal doses. However, some prefer to take it once in the morning.
How long should Anavar dosage be taken?
A typical cycle of Anavar usually lasts 6-8 weeks. While some bodybuilders extend it up to 10 weeks, side effects are more likely to occur in cycles exceeding this time.
When should Anavar dosage be changed?
An expert should be consulted for any change in Anavar dosage. However, most bodybuilders keep the anavar dosage within the recommended limits and keep the dosage constant over a period of time.
